Charleston Event Will Bring Together Families, State Officials
COLUMBIA – The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education (CHE) announced today that it will hold a town hall forum for parents, students, educators, elected officials, and members of the general public on Thursday, February 15th at 5:30 PM in North Charleston, S.C. The event will be emceed by ABC News 4 Reporter, Bill Burr.

WHERE: Lowcountry Graduate Center, 3800 Paramount Drive, North Charleston, S.C.
DETAILS: The members of the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education and select CHE staff will be on hand to take questions and receive comments on the accessibility and affordability of higher education in the state. Scholarship personnel will be available 20 minutes before and after to answer questions students and families may have about state scholarships.
Members of the Legislative Delegations for Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Clarendon, Colleton, Dorchester, Georgetown, Hampton, Jasper, Orangeburg and Williamsburg counties, gubernatorial candidates, chambers of commerce, civic groups, school guidance counselors and other educational leaders from the region have been invited to attend.
All members of the general public are welcome and light refreshments will be provided.
