Charleston Made Window Shades to Appear on This Old House

J Geiger Shading, a Charleston-based designer of motorized shading systems, has announced its participation in a home renovation project for This Old House (TOH). J Geiger’s popular R Series Shading System will appear in the season finale of This Old House Brookline which airs later this week.

The finale episode will feature a newly remodeled, Mid-century modern home in Brookline, Massachusetts. J Geiger shades were installed throughout the home to maximize daylight. TOH viewers will see the shades in action and will hear about J Geiger’s proprietary installation process in an interview given by Director of Northeastern Operations, Zac Kelly.

“The homeowners [Sunil and Neha] reached out to us last August. Like most of our clients, they found us on the internet. We were, of course, thrilled about the opportunity to appear on This Old House. It’s been a fun secret, and we’re excited to finally tell people about it,” says Kendall Flock, Marketing Director. “J Geiger has been advertising nationally since 2012, but there are still so many people, both here in Charleston and across the country who haven’t heard of us yet. We hope the buzz surrounding this show changes that.”

J Geiger shades will appear in the season finale episode, “Taking Modern Back to the Future,” which airs in Charleston this Saturday, June 29th. Visit https://www.thisoldhouse.com/tv-finder for additional listings.

This is the second television appearance for J Geiger this year. J Geiger’s R Series Shading System appeared on HGTV’s newest home-makeover show, Christina on the Coast, earlier this month.

J Geiger shades are handcrafted in North Charleston, SC and are available for purchase nationwide. Visit https://www.jgeigershading.com/ to learn more.
