Veteran Lowcountry Designers Terri Baldwin and Christie Shealy from TCB Design Interiors Join CHD Interiors
CHD Interiors proudly welcomes designers Terri Baldwin and Christie Shealy to their design firm. As the owner of TCB Design Interiors for fifteen years, Terri brings an established designer's skilled eye along with a business owner's knowledge of client and vendor relationships. Her project management skills and practical design experience complement CHD Interiors’ roster of talented designers. Christie brings her lifelong passion for design, as well as extensive experience in both residential and commercial design. Her creative insights will be a great asset to the CHD design team.
From the first time CHD owner and lead interior designer, Lance Griffith, talked with Terri and Christie about joining forces, it seemed like a perfect match. "We couldn't be happier to welcome Terri and Christie to the CHD family. We have been admirers of their work for quite some time, so to have Terri and Christie on the CHD team to share their passion and skill is really an honor.”
Terri is a graduate of both Clemson University and University of North Carolina-Charlotte with degrees in Architecture and Design. Her formal education has been expanded by a broad range of life and work experiences. She has traveled extensively in the U. S. and Europe, collecting visual inspiration at every opportunity. Her work is continually enhanced by her love and appreciation of art, architecture, music, and literature. She has been a practicing designer in the Lowcountry for 15 years and was one of the featured designers on the cover of the inaugural issue of Mount Pleasant Home Magazine. Terri has also been featured in Daniel Island Life Magazine as well as Charleston Home and Design Magazine as a part of the “Surprising Spaces” feature. TCB Design Interiors has active clientele from Charleston to Pawley’s Island, South Carolina.
Christie has been in the design industry for 18 years. From an early age, friends and family always relied on her for design advice. Christie brought that innate talent into a career in design. She received her first design training in Greenville, SC, and ultimately began concentrating on the interior design business in 2008. Christie has been dedicated to design ever since. Her inspiration for her clients comes from really listening to their desires and understanding the way they live. She designs the look and feel of their homes and workspaces to be the vision of her clients’ lifestyle. Her favorite aspect of design is that it is always changing and evolving. Christie’s eclectic design style of mixing old and new will be a natural fit on the CHD design team.
