Cru Cafe Promotes Erin Guilfoyle to Chef De Cuisine

salmon (1)Charleston, S.C. (July 28, 2016) – Cru Cafe and Catering announces the promotion of chef Erin Guilfoyle to Chef De Cuisine at 18 Pinckney Street in Charleston. Chef Guilfoyle joined Cru Cafe and Catering in 2007. She has worked in the Cru kitchen as lead line cook, catering tasting chef and catering sous chef before her recent promotion to Chef de Cuisine of Charleston’s hidden gem, Cru Cafe.

Chef Guilfoyle, lovingly known as ‘Chef E’ amongst regulars and staff, has developed her craft during the past nine years at Cru Cafe & Catering under Executive Chef and owner John Zucker; as well as amongst other culinary talents from more than 20 outside restaurants around the nation where she worked as prep cook, sous chef, consultant and restaurant stagiaire.
