May is National Preservation Month and The Gadsden (https://thegadsden.com) will welcome Kristopher King, executive director of the Preservation Society of Charleston for its monthly lecture series. The event will take place on Thursday, May 31.
Field Notes is a speaker series designed to offer participants a true “insiders view” of this historic, evolving city. King will talk about achieving a balance between progress and preservation in Charleston's historic district.
Drinks and light bites begin at 5:30 p.m. and Mr. King will take the stage soon after 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds will be donated to the Preservation Society of Charleston.
