Charleston, SC — Charleston County School District (CCSD) is proud to announce Henry Darby as Principal of North Charleston High School. Darby returned to CCSD from Dorchester District 2 to initially serve as Interim Principal of North Charleston. As a result of his recent outstanding work, Darby has been permanently placed in this role effective today, Monday, March 27, 2017.
Darby holds a Bachelor of Arts from Morris College, a Master of Arts from Atlanta University, and a Master of Education and Education Specialist degree from The Citadel. Earlier in his career, Darby also served as an adjunct professor of African-American and U.S. History at Charleston Southern University, and as an international instructor at the Chinese Culture and Education Center in Handan and Shijazhuang, China.
