On April 25th at a reception in Columbia, SC HSGS was recognized as one of the winners of the Gleaming Star Award by the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (SCLLR). To qualify for the Gleaming Star Safety Award a company must be located in South Carolina, have less than 100 employees, and demonstrate a culture of safety and health both on site and in the community.

HSGS has accumulated over 75,000 man hours of work since opening its doors all while maintaining a safety record with zero incidents, no lost time, and no recordable accidents.
From the beginning HSGS has made safety a top priority and continues to learn and practice best safety habits.

HSGS finished construction on Hubner Manufacturing Corporation's 918 kilowatt solar PV system. Consisting of 2,700 solar panels, this system is recognized as the largest roof mounted solar PV system on SCE&G's Distributed Energy Resource program, and the largest solar PV system ever constructed in the town of Mount Pleasant, SC.

"From beginning to end, the HSGS team delivered outstanding service as a full service solar integrator. We are now reaping the benefits of our investment and thank HSGS for helping us to fulfill our mission to generate clean renewable energy." - Ron Paquette, CEO of Hubner
