Ken Lott named VP, Human Resource Management

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – The Santee Cooper Board of Directors has named Ken Lott vice president of human resource management, a role he has been fulfilling on an interim basis for several months.

Lott joined Santee Cooper in 1998 as an auditor and over the past 20 years has held several leadership positions in the audit, finance and human resource areas. He was senior auditor until 2007 and then manager of training and development, manager of employee relations and general auditor. In 2016, Lott was named vice president and treasurer, and he served in that capacity until being named interim vice president of human resource management in March 2017.

Lott is a certified public accountant and certified internal auditor. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business from The Citadel and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree from Charleston Southern University. Lott is a 2014 graduate of Leadership South Carolina and a longtime volunteer youth baseball coach
