Local Hospitality Organizations Partner with The College of Charleston to Host Second Annual Opportunity Fair

Charleston, S.C., January 31, 2018- The College of Charleston School of Business’ Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management is partnering with other local organizations including the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association (GCRA) and the Charleston Area Hospitality Association (CAHA) to host its Second Annual Charleston Hospitality Opportunity Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tri-County area jobseekers, students and alumni from the College of Charleston, Culinary Institute of Charleston, Trident Technical College, the Art Institute of Charleston and local high school students are all welcome to TD Arena (301 Meeting Street) to explore the wide range of employment opportunities available in the hospitality industry.

The event will feature over 75 employers hiring for part-time and full-time positions, contract or seasonal employment, management-in-training and supervisory positions, as well as internships and volunteer work. There will be job opportunities for all skill levels with employers from all realms of hospitality. Employers such as Queen Street Hospitality Group, Hotel Bennett, The Dewberry Charleston, Homegrown Hospitality Group, North Charleston Marriott, Charleston Hospitality Group, Charlestowne Hotels and Wild Dunes Resort look forward to meeting with prospective employees to share job opportunities.

The Charleston Hospitality Opportunity Fair is free to attend and open to the public with complimentary shuttle buses running to TD Arena from the Trident Technical College Main Campus and Palmer Campus, The College of Charleston North Campus and the Art Institute of Charleston.
