On Saturday, June 17 from 1-2 PM General James E. Livingston, one of 72 living Medal of Honor recipients will be at The Green Shutter, 121 Pitt St. Old Village Mount Pleasant to sign his book, Noble Warrior. It is the story of how 700 marines engaged 10,000 North Vietnamese Regulars and prevailed. Wounded three times, it is the action for which he was awarded the Medal of Honor, the world's highest honor for bravery in combat.

This is a special edition printed for Patriots Point Foundation, an all volunteer 501c3, and all proceeds go support their cause.

The Green Shutter to Host Medal of Honor Recipient in Fathers Day Even. Maj. Gen. James E. Livingston, USMC (Ret.) to Sign his Book, Noble Warrior Saturday, June 17 from 1-2 p.m. Mt. Pleasant, SC –The Green Shutter will host one of America’s distinguished heroes, Medal of Honor recipient Maj. Gen. James E. Livingston, USMC, (Ret.), for a signing of his book, Noble Warrior. It is the account of the three-day Battle of Dai-Do Vietnam, where his forces were outnumbered more than ten to one and the action for which he was awarded the Medal of Honor. The event will take place Saturday, June 17 at 121 Pitt Street in the Old Village of Mt. Pleasant from 1-2 p.m.

With only 72 living Medal of Honor recipients in the United States today, The Green Shutter, in collaboration with Patriots Point Foundation, is honored to host Maj. Gen. Livingston so the public can learn about the Medal of Honor and understand the service and sacrifices of our American military to ensure our country’s freedom.
All proceeds of the sale of Noble Warrior will go directly to the Patriots Point Foundation, an all volunteer 501c(3) charitable fundraising organization, to support the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum.
