Mt. Pleasant, SC, – the ultimate gift for mom this Sunday is letting her sleep in. Therefore, songs for seeds and MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital are teaming up for a special “daddy & me” class this Sunday, May 13th at 10AM. With a suggested donation of $20/kid, this could be the least expensive and best gift mom has ever received!
Named “Best Kids Music Class” by New York Magazine, this 45 minute classes encourage newborns to six year olds to sing, dance and play along with a live, three-piece rock band. Geared towards young children, the mix of original kid’s rock songs blended with popular tunes, balloons, bubbles, and giveaways, will make this party a hit for kids as well as for dads.
Bill Joy, and his wife Tiffany, are the owners of songs for seeds, Charleston and Bill knows how important a great regional children’s hospital is.
“When we were living in Green Bay, Wisconsin, our son Remy had to be driven two hours away to see a special pediatric hematologist at Milwaukee’s Children’s Hospital. Thank goodness, his condition was not life threatening but I can’t help to think about all the children who are sick and don’t have access to a local children’s hospital.”
Located in Low Country Karate, at the Station 41 Shopping Center (CVS/Sonic) in North Mount Pleasant, the benefit is sure to be a blast and at 10AM, will still allow Dad’s to grab a Starbuck’s for mom on the way back before taking her out for brunch.
To register for the event, please call 843-214-2337. You can also contact Bill Joy directly at email@example.com. All proceeds from the event will go directly to MUSC’s Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.
