NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (Jan. 8, 2018) — SC Works Trident is hosting a Special Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Orientation session for community members interested in advancing their careers in the areas of Manufacturing, Logistics/CDL and welding at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m on Jan. 11 at 1930 Hanahan Road, North Charleston.
The free WIOA session does not require registration beforehand and will benefit those with New Year’s resolution career goals.
“Free training resources are available for high demand occupations in the Trident region,” said Keidrian Kunkel, SC Works Trident Region Manager. “The special WIOA session explains how to take advantage of those, which will lead to high employment opportunities.”
