(N. Charleston, S.C.) – Scott Woods, South Carolina Federal President and CEO, has been selected by Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award as one of the Top CEOs of 2019.
Woods was ranked #5 out of 50 CEOs, based on the anonymous and voluntary reviews of current and previous South Carolina Federal employees shared on Glassdoor throughout the past year. Among chief executives recognized by employees of small and medium sized businesses in the U.S., Woods received an impressive approval rating of 99 percent.
“Culture is a main driver in our organization. The ability to keep a pulse on our employee heartbeat via Glassdoor and share that passion with potential new team members is one of the most valuable tools in our overall talent approach. Being recognized as a leader of such an accomplished team is a true honor," said Woods.
Glassdoor’s Top CEOs in 2019 were determined using company reviews shared by U.S. based employees between May 2, 2018 and May 1, 2019. The final list is compiled using Glassdoor’s proprietary algorithm, led by its Economic Research Team, and takes into account quantity, quality and consistency of reviews.
“It’s an honor to recognize incredible leaders who, from their employees’ perspectives, exemplify exceptional vision, trust and communication. Glassdoor’s Top CEOs award continues to be more competitive every year, and I congratulate each leader on their achievement,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor president and chief operating officer.
