Southern First Bank Hires New Executive Jonathan Patterson Will Provide Leadership In Summerville

Greenville, South Carolina – February 20, 2018 – Southern First Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFST), holding company for Southern First Bank, is pleased to announce that Jonathan D. Patterson has joined the bank as Senior Vice President. Patterson’s primary responsibilities will include leadership for the Summerville, South Carolina area.

Patterson brings 15 years of banking experience, with 12 being in the Summerville market, most recently as an executive with a community bank located in the Summerville area. Patterson is a graduate of The University of South Carolina, The South Carolina School of Banking and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Patterson’s wife is a native of Summerville, and Mr. Patterson is highly engaged in the community. Patterson currently serves as the Chair Elect of the Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce, as member of the Summerville Rotary Club, as past President of Summerville Exchange Club, and is an active member at Bethany United Methodist Church.
