Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic announced the selection of Dr. Suzanne Huerth as the Senior Science and Technology Manager (SSTM) Chief Technology Officer. As the Science & Technology competency lead, Dr. Huerth will direct the rapid prototyping and technology transitions for SSC Atlantic and be responsible for managing laboratory-directed Science & Technology stewardship programs to include STEM activities and Naval Innovative Science and Engineering.
Dr. Huerth has served in numerous SSC Atlantic technical roles during her career. Most recently she served as a Portfolio Systems Engineer in support of the Navy and Federal Support Portfolio.
SSC Atlantic provides systems engineering and acquisition to deliver capabilities to the Naval, Joint and National Warfighter through the acquisition, development, integration, production, test , deployment, and sustainment of interoperable Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR), Cyber and Information Technology (IT) capabilities that enable Information Warfare for national defense and perform other functions as directed by higher authority.
