The hospital’s comprehensive pediatric program is designed to respond to the needs of this rapidly growing community and is based on recommendations by Summerville Medical Center’s Community Advisory Board, community pediatric physicians, patients and hospital staff.
This month, Summerville Medical Center welcomes Dr. Sudipta Misra, Pediatric Gastroenterologist, and Dr. Alexander Soutter, Pediatric General Surgeon, to join Dr. George Harris, Pediatric Ear Nose & Throat, at Summerville Pediatric Specialists.
“I am very excited to welcome Dr. Misra and Dr. Soutter to our pediatric program,” said Lisa Valentine, Summerville Medical Center CEO. “They bring a commitment to our growing community of families and a vision for providing easy access to extraordinary care for children.”

“My wife, our three daughters and I are very excited to be moving to the Summerville area,” commented Dr. Alexander Soutter. “I love working with Dr. Sudipta Misra and Dr. George Harris and alongside the entire outstanding pediatric team at Summerville Medical Center – pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, neonatologists and nurses.
