The Brandon Agency Continues Growth in SC, Welcoming New PR & Social Media Members

CHARLESTON, S.C. - March 15, 2017 - The Brandon Agency, 2017 Myrtle Beach Herald Readers’ Choice winner for Best PR/Marketing Firm in Myrtle Beach, has recently added team members to the Public Relations and Social Media departments. With a vast increase in new business over the last several months, The Brandon Agency has tapped Emily Trogdon, Justine Schwindel and Grace Long to join the team.

Emily Trogdon, Public Relations Manager
Trogdon joins the public relations team as its newest manager at the agency’s Charleston, S.C. office. Before joining the agency, she led the PR department at Momentum Marketing for five years as Public Relations Director, where she represented clientele throughout the nation specializing in luxury automotive, retail, hospitality and nonprofit. The College of Charleston graduate is a Palmetto State native and brings a wide range of experience to the agency’s growing team, including event management, media relations, content marketing and brand strategy.

Justine Schwindel, Senior Social Media Account Executive
Schwindel brings not only experience, but also great enthusiasm to the social media team. Her previous work as an adjunct professor of business administration, which included teaching a social media management class at Presbyterian College, her Alma Mater, and most recently director of business development for FirstService Residential, will expand the team's management skills and creativity bandwidth. Schwindel, who was named Young Professional of the Year for Laurens County, brings marketing expertise and innovation to the social media team.

Grace Long, Public Relations Account Executive
Long joins the agency’s public relations team based in Myrtle Beach, where she was born and raised. Long resided in the Grand Strand area until she began her studies at the University of South Carolina, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations. Before graduating last December, Long interned with U.S. Senator Tim Scott. When she's not contacting media and writing newsworthy stories, Long enjoys binge-reading and spending time in her backyard—the beach.

“The agency has experienced rapid growth over the last several months,” said Paul Hughes, director of public relations and social media. “With a combination of growth and our company philosophy of developing revolutionary business building ideas that help our clients grow, we are committed to stacking the deck with top-notch talent.”

The Brandon Agency has been the driving force behind many well-known brands, including Southern Tide, CresCom Bank, Santee Cooper, HTC, Williams Knife Co., Brittain Resort Management and Beaufort, S.C., developing and delivering tangible results that positively impact business.
