The Center for Women Has New Home in West Ashley

As of July 23, 2017, The Center for Women has relocated their offices to One Carriage Lane in West Ashley. The move follows the sale of the Cannon Street single house that they have been located in since 2007. The Center for Women’s Board of Directors and staff have been planning the move for a year and a half to include a central location, efficient office space layout and plenty of off- street parking.

“The Cannon Street building has been a wonderful home for The Center for 10 years,” says Donna Englander, Interim Executive Director of the Center for Women, “and the sale of the property has provided our staff and clients the space we need to grow and support the Center’s mission for many years to come.”

The Center for Women bought 129 Cannon Street in 2007, a purchase made possible by a gift from the Spaulding Paolozzi Foundation. The Cannon Street building was dedicated to the memory of Countess Alicia Spaulding Paolozzi. The plaque that was dedicated to the memory of Countess Paolozzi has a special place of honor in the new offices.
The Center for Women’s new address is 1 Carriage Lane Building C, Unit 200, Charleston, SC 29407.

The Center for Women (C4W) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves to help educate and advocate so that women in South Carolina achieve economic success and are leaders in their professional, community and personal lives.
