Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will offer free admission to Vietnam veterans and their families on Vietnam Veterans Day, Thursday, March 29. Attached is a press release and below is a link to photos from Vietnam Veterans Day 2017.
In addition to free admission, each Vietnam veteran who visits on March 29 will be pinned with an official Department of Defense Vietnam veteran lapel pin. Inside the Vietnam Experience at Patriots Point, representatives from the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center will be present to answer questions about various programs that are offered to veterans.
At 1 p.m., Patriots Point will host a brief memorial ceremony inside the Vietnam Experience Exhibit for those who were killed during the war.

Cost: Free admission for Vietnam veterans and their immediate family members visiting with them – made possible by the SunTrust Foundation. Normal parking rate of $5.
Fact: The Vietnam War resulted in the death of more than 58,000 U.S. troops. A memorial inside the Vietnam Experience at Patriots Point displays the dog tags of each one of the 896 South Carolinians who were killed.
