YCRLAW Welcomes Three New Associates

Michael R. Loignon

Michael Loignon practices primarily in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Appeals practice group. Prior to joining YCRLAW, Michael worked as an attorney for the South Carolina Department of Social Services and the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office where he tried numerous cases to jury verdict. Michael is also a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute. In law school, Michael won the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Evidence and was a member of the Military Law Society and the Criminal Law Society. Michael has served as an Intelligence Officer in the Army National Guard since 2003, earning an Army Commendation Medal for service in Iraq.

 

 

 

 


Mallory E. Molony

Mallory Molony practices primarily in the firm’s Trucking & Transportation practice group. In law school, Mallory won CALI Award (highest grade) in Lawyers & The Media, and in Wills, Trust, and Estates. She was also Vice Chair of Honor Council, Secretary of the Health Law Society and a member of Women in Law Society. She also served as a law clerk for the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office and as a legal intern for One 80 Place. Prior to law school, Mallory worked as a realtor for Carolina One Real Estate.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Zachary M. Kern

Zachery Kern practices primarily in the firm’s Employment & Labor Law practice group. Prior to joining YCRLAW, Zach served as law clerk to the Honorable Daniel D. Hall, 16th Judicial Circuit. In law school, Zach won the CALI Award in Trial Advocacy and was the Vice President of the Student Bar Association. Zach was a semi-finalist in the Judge Terry L. Glenn Mock Trial Competition. He was also a Co-Champion in the University of South Carolina School of Law ABA Client Counseling Competition and a semi-finalist at the regional competition.
