A Doll’s House, Part 2 by Lucas Hnath to run in Spring of 2019

Charleston, SC (November 29, 2018) - As an update to the press release issued on Friday, October 26, 2018, PURE Theatre will now open the second production of their 16th Season: A Doll’s House, Part 2, by Lucas Hnath in the Spring of 2019. Dates for the shifted run are being finalized at this time and will be released in late 2018.

PURE Theatre is currently in transition into its new home at the Cannon Street Arts Center - a brand-new arts facility managed by the City of Charleston’s Office of Cultural Affairs. While the final details are coming together, there are a few more items that need to be sorted out before the center is ready to welcome the public. In the meantime, the PURE Institute and Youth Company, PURE’s education initiatives, as well as, preparations for the remaining Season 16 productions are in motion and anticipated to have a strong start in early 2019.

PURE’s 16th Season will continue in January 2019 with the Sam Shepard Repertoire: True West and Fool for Love. These plays will run in rotation in celebration and honor of the life and work of one of America’s most influential and important playwrights, Sam Shepard. More details about the production will come in December 2018.
