CHARLESTON, S.C. — Each October, AgentOwned Realty puts out a pink piggy bank amid the Halloween decorations. You cannot miss the big pink pig on the front desk--it greets everyone who enters the company’s Mt. Pleasant office on Johnnie Dodds Boulevard, reminding them that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It also collects donations to support MUSC Hollings Cancer Center’s breast cancer research, a cause that is very dear to the company’s founders.
This year, in addition to the pink piggy bank, AgentOwned Realty was able to give the Hollings Cancer Center a portion of its proceeds from each property closing in October. Thanks to each of its AgentOwners who had a closing in October, AgentOwned Realty donated $12,800 in support of breast cancer research. The donation was made in memory of Liza Loadholt Valero. AgentOwned selected the Hollings Cancer Center as the recipient of its donation because the funds go directly to breast cancer research.
Liz and Boyd Loadholt launched AgentOwned Realty in 1992. Serving the entire Lowcountry and other parts of South Carolina, AgentOwned Realty is 100 percent owned by its sales associates. The company works to streamline the real estate transaction process by bringing all the services the public needs to complete the purchase of a home under one roof. This combined approach leads to high levels of customer satisfaction and better value for customers. Further, when they select AgentOwned Realty, customers have the assurance of working with AgentOwners who are personally vested in the business.
