Margaret Burns, AgentOwned Realty, Isle of Palms
ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. — Margaret Burns has placed her license with AgentOwned Realty’s Isle of Palms office at 1400-G Palm Boulevard. Burns completed a bachelor of arts at Columbia College and trained at the Buckley School of Public Speaking. After finishing her education in the Midlands of South Carolina, the coastal air and saltwater drew her to the Lowcountry.
Burns has worked in reporting, publishing, marketing, the paralegal field, and real estate. Her resume includes more than five years with Mount Pleasant Magazine and three self-published photography coffee table books with text. Her early work in real estate began in 2006 and was cut short during the economic downturn of 2008. Through the years, and no matter what industry she applies herself to, Burns has realized that her true métier is working with the public and advocating for their needs.
Away from her work in real estate, she enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, gardening, and creating ideas for decorating and design. She also has an 11 year old daughter. When she was a youngster herself, Burns appeared as the Queen of the Ringling Brothers Circus in Columbia.
