CHARLESTON, S.C. (August 28, 2018) – Alcami, a leading provider of fully-integrated custom end-to-end solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, has expanded its Charleston leadership team with the addition of Andrew Collins. The South Carolina site is dedicated to sterile manufacturing with capabilities in aseptic fill, lyophilization, and terminal sterilization.
In his role as Senior Manager of Human Resources, Collins’ responsibilities will involve driving organizational effectiveness, fostering an energetic environment of talent management and development, and leading talent acquisition and all other general site Human Resources initiatives at Alcami’s Charleston site.
Prior to joining Alcami, Collins spent his career in Human Resources supporting the nuclear industry and large scale commercial construction. Most recently, he was the Site HR Manager for Southern Nuclear at the Vogtle 3-4 new nuclear construction site.
Collins earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The Citadel here in Charleston. He is excited to get back to the city he has always felt was like home. Since obtaining his degree, Collins has developed a reputation for being a business minded people person. He has a passion for helping others achieve their potential and grow their careers. “When you care about your people, grow and develop your people, and have strong first line leadership, the business results will most certainly follow,” says Collins.
He has his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).
