February 1, 2019:
On the first Friday of every February, the nation comes together, igniting a wave of red from coast to coast to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease! East Cooper Medical Center staff members will be wearing red and photos will be shared.

We Know Women & Cardiology
According to the CDC, heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the United States, killing about 1 out of 4 women. East Cooper Medical Center will host “We Know Women & Cardiology” on Thursday, February 21st to help educate local women about heart disease risk factors and prevention in a fun, informative atmosphere. More information about physician Q&A sessions and vendors will be provided in the coming weeks.
