(Berkeley County, SC) - The Berkeley Chamber will be hosting a briefing and special presentation on the Volvo Car Charleston Plant on Friday, November 19th at 9:00 a.m. at Trident Technical College Thornley Campus.
This program will highlight Volvo’s most recent investment of $118 million into its Ridgeville, South Carolina plant to build the Polestar 2 on the Volvo Car Group’s next generation electric architecture, under contract for its affiliate, Polestar Cars.
Our guest speaker Mr. David Stenstrom, Vice President, Manufacturing, Americas and Plant Manager - Volvo Car Charleston Plant, will share the latest developments on the plant and expansion project along with the vision and the future plans for Volvo and how it will impact our county, state, and region.
