Born and raised in Summerville, McWethy graduated from Summerville High School. She and her husband live in Ridgeville with their two daughters and their two boxers. Given that her husband worked in law enforcement for 10 years, McWethy has a special place in her heart for the law enforcement and first responder communities.
In tandem with her career in real estate, McWethy runs a woodworking company from her garage. She has turned her favorite pastime into a business specializing in handmade home décor and custom logo signs.
