Elizabeth Ezzo is originally from South Florida, Elizabeth attended Florida State University where she worked in the research lab at the FSU Autism Institute under Dr. Amy Wetherby.
It was here that she gained a passion for identifying and working with children on the Autism Spectrum. Elizabeth then completed her graduate training at The University of Alabama, where she continued to participate in research studies and work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
She completed her clinical fellowship at The University of Alabama – Birmingham Civitan Sparks Clinic, where she completed thorough evaluations on an interdisciplinary team for children with a variety of developmental disabilities.
After working in the Upstate for two years, Elizabeth decided to move back to the beach and join the team at Carolina Speech and Language Center. She is formally trained in the Language Acquisition Through Motor Planning and Beckman Oral Motor programs.
In her free time, you can find her exploring the city with her dog Lilly and cheering on her college football teams!
