Charleston-based Real Estate Investment Group Builds a Mixed-Use Development in Winston-Salem

Adams Property Group, headquartered in Downtown Charleston, is developing a new 68,200 SF shopping center in Winston-Salem, NC which will bring new retailers, restaurants and housing to the community in 2023.

West Edge Shopping Center will be a walkable, mixed-use development, anchored by a 48,387 SF grocery store, and will also include 19,800 SF of retail, and a 1.5 acre outparcel. Access and infrastructure will be shared with 289 Class A Multifamily Units to be constructed adjacent to the retail development. Tenants who have already signed on include: Publix, Dunkin, Heartland, Jersey Mikes, and Friendly Nails.

The West Edge project, reportedly valued at $80 million dollars, will be ideally situated at the intersection of Robinhood Road and Meadowlark Drive, just north of the 800-acre Brookberry Farm residential community. The development will also be served by the existing signalized intersection of Robinhood Road and Olivet Church Road.

The retail buildings will be ready for delivery to tenants June 2023. Retails openings expected by December 2023.
