Charleston Flight Adventure Park Gives Back to Local Children’s Cancer Charity

Flight Adventure Park, an indoor, aviation-themed adventure park, is set to partner with local nonprofit Courageous Kidz for a month-long fundraiser in support of childhood cancer awareness and research efforts in the Charleston community.

Throughout September, Flight will be selling special edition apparel with 100% of the proceeds dedicated to Courageous Kidz. Flight guests can also make donations upon entry.

On Tuesday, Sept. 21, in addition to apparel sales, 20% of all park purchases will go to Courageous Kids.

The fundraiser keeps consistent with Flight’s commitment to creating an environment where the young and the young at heart can empower their imaginations and explore their physical space. With a wide range of attractions, from trampolines to climbing structures to virtual realties and more, Flight aims to ignite the adventuring-seeking spirit in all of its guests, while engaging in light-hearted community entertainment.

"Supporting those battling cancer is a cause very close to me as a two-time cancer survivor,” said Steven Yeffa, CEO at Flight Adventure Park. “I’m so grateful that we are able to give back to Courageous Kidz and support their mission in providing activities for children battling cancer and their families to maintain a sense of optimism. This speaks to our dedication at Flight in creating a fun, imaginative environment for kids to explore.

Courageous Kidz, often called a “safe haven for kids with cancer,” provides year-round activities and experiences to help children battling cancer and their families maintain a sense of optimism and normalcy. Learn more at courageouskidz.org.
