Jazz Big Bands ushered in the 1920s and 1930s swing era led by iconic bandleaders such as Fletcher Henderson and Duke Ellington. The legacy continued with Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Buddy Rich, Maria Schneider, Gordon Goodwin, and more. Each artist played a significant role in the development, innovation and popularization of orchestral jazz. The rest is history!
