David Kent
David Kent, Broker in Charge of The Real Buyer’s Agent, Charleston’s first exclusive buyer’s agency, was appointed the Realtor Party Disbursement Liaison by 2023 National Association of REALTORS® President Kenny Parcell. He will serve as a conduit for communication between the Leadership Team and the following committees: Relator Party Trustees for Campaign Services Committee, State and Local Issues Mobilization Support Committee, and RPAC Federal Disbursement Committee.
He has held positions such as President of the South Carolina Association of Realtors in 2016 and Chair of the RPAC Federal Disbursement in 2021. Kent is currently serving as a Director of the National Association of REALTORS® and the South Carolina Association of REALTORS® as well as on the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council Advisory Board.
He also is active in his community, currently serving as President-Elect of the Mt. Pleasant Rotary Club and is on Charleston County Planning Commission.
Kent opened The Real Buyer’s Agent, HBC Charleston’s first exclusive buyer’s agent brokerage, in 1995. Since he started, the company has never taken a listing which eliminates the conflict of dual or designated agency that most agencies face.
The company has continued to grow while remaining committed to 100% representation and service for the buyer.
