Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS continues to support Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County (HFHBC) through their REALTORS Housing Opportunities Fund through Coastal Community Foundation. HFHBC has received $5,000 that will assist in the building of a safe, affordable home for Josh and his children. The building of his home has begun as Josh is working hard to fulfill his partnership in the HFHBC homeownership program. For qualified applicants, they receive a 25 year 0% home loan on a newly constructed, ENERGY STAR home after completing 350 hours of 'sweat equity.' and rigorous financial stability education classes. Josh is excited to provide his children with a safe environment in which they can thrive and grow. Thanks to partners like the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS, Josh's dream will come true!

The Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS (CTAR) established RHOF to support non-profit organizations making a positive difference in the local community through the creation and maintenance of affordable housing. RHOF's giving mission is three-pronged; the repair or rehabilitation of low-to-moderate income housing, the creation of new affordable housing, and education to encourage responsible homeownership.
