The 8-hour civil examination consists of five areas, including construction, geotechnical, structural, transportation, and water resources and environmental.
Cox joined Thomas & Hutton in June 2014 after earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. As a Designer in the Civil Department, Cox provides stormwater modeling, site development design, erosion control permitting, and local agency permitting for master planned communities, single-family and multi-family residential, and commercial projects in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Projects he has worked extensively on include Cainhoy South residential project and Point Hope Commons in Berkeley County and Johnston Pointe in Charleston County, SC.
