It is with great pleasure that Cullum Mechanical Construction, Inc. announces the promotion of David Helms to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The shareholders elected David to the Cullum Mechanical Board of Directors who later appointed him as CFO and Treasurer.
David earned his bachelor’s degree from UNC Charlotte with a concentration in finance. In 1997 he sat for and passed the exam for Certified Public Accountants. That same year, he began his career as a construction controller, working for a utility contractor. In 2015, David joined the Cullum team to lead the accounting department for the Cullum family of companies. David has over 25 years as a controller, is a Certified Public Accountant, and is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP).
