Fetter Health Care Network hosts ribbon-cutting celebration in honor of new Thaddeus J. Bell, MD Family Health Center

To commemorate the opening of the Thaddeus J. Bell, MD Family Health Center, Fetter Health Care Network is hosting an open house on Wednesday, August 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. during the evening's celebration. As part of Fetter Health Care Network, the new Thaddeus J. Bell, MD Family Health Center serves insured, underinsured and underserved individuals throughout the Lowcountry.

The event will take place at the new Summerville center located at 130 Varnfield Drive in Summerville, SC. Fetter Health Care Network anticipates special guest appearances from the Dorchester County Congressional & Legislative Delegations, Summerville Chamber, Carlisle Harrison, the Board Chair of Fetter Health Care Network and Aretha R. Jones, the CEO of Fetter Health Care Network. Tours of the new facility will be offered throughout the evening's celebration.

"We are excited to be able to celebrate our growing network with the addition of our new Thaddeus J. Bell, MD Family Health Center," said Aretha R. Jones, CEO of Fetter Health Care Network. "We are confident that the new location and expanded facility will meet the growing demand for more convenient, quality health care services in Summerville and the surrounding community."

The new Summerville center will be open to patients beginning Monday, August 20. Patients can expect to find a larger facility with additional providers, more support staff and a new pharmacy.

"We chose the location based on its proximity to I-26," Jones said of the facility's location at Varnfield Drive. "Overall, it will allow our patients in Summerville more convenient access to our healthcare services and providers."
