First National Bank Continues Strategic Hiring in Charleston

CHARLESTON, SC – First National Bank, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE: FNB), announced today that it hired Elizabeth Wooten Burwell as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Team Leader. This announcement builds on FNB’s hiring of local leaders with extensive banking expertise and proven track records in the Charleston market. Burwell joins recent hires Jeffrey Smith, Sean Holleran and Heidi Finniff.

In her role, Burwell is responsible for building and leading a Commercial Banking team focused on establishing and maintaining banking relationships with middle market and large corporate clients in Charleston and the surrounding area. Positioning customers for financial success, Burwell employs FNB’s customized solutions and competitive suite of commercial products and services such as Treasury Management, International Banking, Lease Financing, SBA Financing, Asset-Based Lending, Insurance, Capital Markets, Private Banking and Wealth Management.

With nearly two decades of financial services experience, Burwell recently served as a Business Banking Manager for Wells Fargo in Charleston. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina and is a graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School. A Charleston resident and native, Burwell is active in her community, serving on various boards of directors for organizations that include the Charleston Area Metro Chamber of Commerce, Kiawah Cares Foundation and Porter-Gaud School.
