Five Reasons to Attend This Thursday’s 12th Annual Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Business & Community Expo

The largest networking event in Mount Pleasant — driven by Crews Subaru of Charleston — is set to take place this Thursday, September 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Omar Shrine Center, in partnership with the Town of Mount Pleasant and for the first time Health Sponsor, Roper St. Francis Healthcare. The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) Business and Community Expo is designed to be both fun and educational, with interactive exhibitor booths that offer demonstrations, giveaways and food samples. There will be games, prizes, vendors galore, and a Happy Hour from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. As always, admission is FREE.

“The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce’s Business and Community Expo is a great opportunity for local businesses, and the community-at-large to come together for an engaging, and free networking event. “The MPCC Business and Community Expo Committee is excited to announce our 12th Annual Expo to be held at Omar Shrine Center in Mount Pleasant, SC on Thursday, September 22, 2022,” says Ben Knight, MPCC Board Member and Expo Committee Chair. “Coming out of the COVID restraints in 2020, we were excited to see the level of participation by both vendors and attendees last year, as people were eager once again to conduct business in-person. This year, we expect an even higher level of participation. Not only will we have over 90 vendors inside Omar Shrine Center, but we are also creating outdoor booth space for vendors who may be somewhat constrained by limited space inside to participate (e.g.; boat dealers, landscape companies, golf cart vendors, etc.).”

He continues, “in addition, we will have outside vendors and Food Trucks positioned in front of Omar Shrine Center so people can help our community, get some great food and see a lot of fantastic vendors. Speaking of vendors, this is a great opportunity to reach over 1,200 attendees. If you are a business owner and would like to expand your market share or connect with business and community movers and shakers, the MPCC 2022 Business and Community Expo is the place to be!”
