Former High School Standouts Sponsor 50 Student-Athletes to Develop Personal Brand

(Hanahan, SC) Fifty student-athletes will be sponsored on a Social Branding Workshop that will be held on November 6,2021, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at The Factory in 5913 Loftis Rd., Hanahan, South Carolina.

Recent NCAA rule and policy change has sparked much conversation and encouraged more strategic efforts by institutions and athletes concerning how student-athletes monetize their brand.

The Factory Sports and Fitness Training, a development center and gym, wants to join the conversation preparing their audience for the new landscape. Co-owners and operators, Kendrick Robinson and Jamie Fordham, prior Goose Creek High School standouts, have brought in a consulting agency to serve their student-athlete members. “We’ve been in the shoes they’re seeking,” says Robinson. “The Staff at the Factory is comprised of collegiate, professional and international athletic experience and we know the value of being prepared not just physically but personally for those atmospheres… and that includes branding.”

Spark Solutions Coaching and Consulting is a Social Impact consulting agency that focuses on the advances of social wellness for all populations. The owner, Jessica Cohen, is also a former low country standout with experience in navigating collegiate athletics. “The workshop is a great opportunity for student-athletes to develop their personal brand for their unique purpose,” Cohen explains. “I am thrilled by The Factory’s push to propel student-athletes in the low country with this opportunity.” Student-athletes and their parents will each receive the education and strategy to position the athlete for an effective personal brand.
