GINGERVINE BRINGS GLOBAL STREET FOODS TO WORKSHOP
MEET CHEF CAROLINE CAMPBELL
Caroline Campbell, the chef & Owner of GingerVine Street Foods, is a New Jersey native with a serious passion for food and endless curiosity about the world.
Her desire to go out on her own, after most recently working at Obstinate Daughter, is inspired by the joy she found in tradition of "family meal," the daily meal restaurants serve their staff. "Family meals were usually inspired by a different culture or cuisine that we cooked everyday. It was whatever we could find in the walk-in, crafted into a dish that meant something special to whoever on the team made it. Those meals have been a source of happiness that drive the love and curiosity behind our food."
The menu for GingerVine reflects seasonal produce and all the food is prepared in Workshop's wood-burning oven, located next to Sushi-Wa Izakaya. GingerVine opens on Thursday, December 12th, joining new concepts Mansueta's Filipino food and Julius' Delicatessen.
Initial hours are Thursday through Sunday 11 am to 10pm.
