Grand opening celebration to benefit My Sister’s House

Break Room in Action

Charleston, S.C. – Put your rage to good use! Join us at The Break Room to benefit My Sister’s House Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, 1:00-4:00 PM. The Break Room Charleston, located at 1947 Belgrade Ave. in West Ashley, will celebrate their grand opening with live music, a local food truck and all the smashing you can handle! 100% of proceeds from the celebration will benefit My Sister’s House, a local women’s center for domestic violence. The Break Room is excited to be the lowcountry’s first location to release frustration, combat stress and reduce anxiety in a safe, entertaining and FUN way.

“We are excited to be part of a unique experience that offers a safe and alternate solution to stress relief. Some people run or play sports to release that extra energy. The Break Room provides that fun and thrill in a different way that still doesn’t cause harm or issue to anyone else,” said Tosha Connors, Director of Development and Sponsorship at My Sister’s House.

To add to the excitement, guests can purchase tickets to smash a car, donated by Don’s Car Crushing, with their choice of a bat or crowbar. Mayor Tecklenburg will even be stopping in for some fun!

The Break Room Charleston offers smashing sessions in fifteen and thirty minute increments, solo or with a friend. Safety gear is included and videotaping is allowed.
