Hannah Solar Government Services to Design, Engineer Solar PV Array for U.S. Naval Base Guam

Summerville, SC- Hannah Solar Government Services, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), renewable energy company based out of Charleston, SC has been selected to design, engineer, and procure materials for a 1.08 MW PV (photovoltaic) system for the United States Navy at Naval Base Guam.

Naval Base Guam is a strategic, joint U.S. naval base located in the Northern Mariana Islands of the Pacific Ocean. It is home to multiple U.S. Navy submarines, a Coast Guard Cutter, as well as nearly 30 other tenant commands. Their strategic location has been vital to protecting U.S. and its allies’ interests since 1944.

The ground mount solar PV energy system being designed will help reduce much of the costs the base incurs annually with traditional power sources.

HSGS has completed multiple projects on U.S. military Installations at home and overseas, including Joint Base Pearl Harbor- Hickam, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, and the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Site at Meck Island, among others.
