The American Heart Association (AHA) is proud to announce Jay Millen of Caldwell Partners will chair the 22nd Annual Charleston Heart Ball. The Heart Ball will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019, at the Gaillard Center.
In his role as chair, Millen will work with local leaders to support the Charleston Heart Ball and expand the AHA’s mission. Jay Millen is the Managing Partner of the Caldwell Partners (TSE: CWL) CEO & Board Practice, and is a member of the Charleston office. Working with publicly-traded and privately-held companies, Jay assists clients in senior level recruitment and in the development of board and CEO succession plans. He also has an extensive not for profit background at the board and senior executive level.
“Whether it’s teaching CPR in the community, educating people about the early signs of heart disease or funding research into lifesaving treatments, the American Heart Association has been at the forefront of fighting cardiovascular disease,” said Millen. “That’s why I’m so honored to support this lifesaving cause.”
Through the generous support of the community and local Life is Why sponsor MUSC, the American Heart Association was able to celebrate the lives saved and improved in the Lowcountry. All proceeds will support AHA-funded cardiovascular disease research, helping to improve the lives of residents in the area.
