After five months of successfully welcoming diners for dinner, Parcel 32, 442 King St., is excited to unveil another opportunity to taste executive chef Shaun Brian’s cuisine. The restaurant will offer Sunday brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning Nov. 4. The brunch menu will feature a variety of hearty, classic dishes with chef Brian’s elevated, unique twists, including the buttered shrimp hand pie with habanero lime aioli, Johnny cake, buttered shrimp and cilantro; seasonal French toast with caramelized apples, whipped goat cheese, dulce de leche and frosted pecans; and smoked Gouda grits loaded with scallions and bacon. Those craving something sweet will be happy to find a selection of treats like a waffle sundae and apple donuts with cinnamon sugar, caramel and apple chips. Brunch prices range from $6 to $13. Sip-worthy coffees, teas and brunch cocktails, including a Bloody Mary with Dixie Black Pepper Vodka, Charleston Bloody Mary Mix, pickled skewer and harissa rim and fall sangria with Hennessy VS, red or white wine, orange and apple, are also available for imbibing. A full menu can be found at parcel32.com and reservations can be made via OpenTable.
Parcel 32 also recently launched its fall menu with seasonal dishes from chef Brian and a special late-night bar menu offered Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m. to midnight. The fall menu includes familiar favorites with comforting accompaniments such as sweet potatoes, fall squash and Carolina apples. Late-night diners can enjoy the restaurant’s signature blended smash burger; loaded waffle fries; local pickle bowl; harissa salt and vinegar peanuts; crispy fish sandwich with Creole remoulade sauce and American cheese on a potato roll; and bourbon butterscotch pecan blondies.
