November 11, 2019 - Charleston, SC - Goose Creek, South Carolina based JW Aluminum, a supplier of flat-rolled aluminum, was honored at the Salute to Manufacturing Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, October 30th. The awards closed out the 2019 South Carolina Manufacturing Conference & Expo. JW Aluminum received the Carlisle Associates Smart Move Award for its $300M expansion at their Goose Creek, South Carolina facility.
As one of the largest investments in the state, JW Aluminum's ongoing expansion is adding state-of-the-art equipment to create the most technologically advanced aluminum continuous cast facility in the world, as well as bringing new high-paying manufacturing jobs to the region.

The Salute to Manufacturing Awards honors South Carolina companies in the manufacturing sector and specifically highlights companies who've made an outsized impact on the state's manufacturing industry.
