Back by popular demand, Le Creuset has announced that its Factory-to-Table event will return to the Charleston Area Convention Center in Charleston, South Carolina on Friday and Saturday, September 28 and 29, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, September 30, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a special VIP shopping event on Thursday, September 27, 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

One hundred percent of ticket proceeds will go towards scholarship funding for Culinary Institute of Charleston students at Trident Technical College, as well as Palmetto Goodwill’s Culinary Kick-Start, a hands-on program that provides entry-level job seekers with skills and on-site training by some of Charleston’s top culinary professionals.
“Following the success of last year’s event in Charleston, as well as in Fort Worth, Nashville and Denver, we couldn’t be more excited to return to the Lowcountry,” said Diane Foster, Le Creuset VP of Retail. “We are so thankful to have the support of Le Creuset loyalists and our retail teams here in Charleston to help ensure another great event. Additionally, we are thrilled to be able to give back to the Culinary Kick-Start program, as it’s a strong contributor to providing training and jobs in the city’s culinary industry.”
The Party Starts Early
The Factory-to-Table event kicks off Thursday evening, September 27, with two special VIP shopping sessions at the Charleston Area Convention Center from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m. The VIP sessions are offered to the public at a premium ticket price of $25 and will feature early sale access, demos and meet-and-greets with Charleston’s top chefs, live music, a photo booth, drinks, bites and more. Tickets to the VIP sessions are available for purchase here.
Insider Access
Hospitality industry members will have the chance to take advantage of exclusive deals on Friday, September 28. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., chefs and other members of the industry will receive an extra 15 percent off, on top of existing discounts with proof of ID, such as a business card or paystub. Online registration is required.
Shopping for a Worthy Cause
For this year’s event, Le Creuset has teamed up with two Lowcountry organizations, Palmetto Goodwill’s Culinary Kick-Start and the Culinary Institute of Charleston, as the benefiting charity partners of the Charleston Factory-to-Table sale. This is the first year Le Creuset is partnering with Palmetto Goodwill’s Culinary Kick-Start, a training program for entry-level jobseekers focused on both soft skills and on-site training by some of Charleston’s top culinary professionals. One hundred percent of ticket sale proceeds from the VIP Hospitality Event and the Friday and Saturday shopping sessions will be distributed to both organization, and representatives from both organizations will be on site throughout the weekend to educate shoppers on their missions and about ways to get involved.
