Little grows its Charleston presence

East Edisto Middle School in Summerville, SC

Charleston, SC – Little Diversified Architectural Consulting is steadily growing its presence in the Charleston area. Officially established in April 2022, Little’s Charleston office has already expanded into a larger space at 4900 O’Hare Avenue to better serve its South Carolina clients.

The firm’s growing list of area projects includes East Edisto Middle School in Summerville, the CTE (Career & Technical Education) Innovation Center in Greenville, West Ashley Center for Advanced Studies in Charleston and renovations of the Rutledge Rivers Residence Hall and Stern Student Center at the College of Charleston. In addition, the firm has worked on several retail, corporate workplace and healthcare projects in the area.

“Little is one of few transdisciplinary firms in the Carolinas that brings a full complement of architecture, engineering and consulting services to our clients,” said Don Baus, a Studio Principal in Little’s Charleston office. “We have been designing projects in South Carolina for the last 10 years, so it was a natural fit to further extend our presence in the Charleston region.”

To help support Little’s clients and the growing number of projects, the firm recently welcomed Ryan Bing and Sydney Kerschen, NCIDQ. Bing is an architectural designer and graduate of Clemson University with diverse design experience and passions for environmental science and urbanism. Kerschen is an interior designer and graduate of Appalachian State University with extensive experience in space planning and furniture specifications.

Little is a national design firm recognized for crafting exceptional solutions that elevate client performance in the community, retail, workplace and healthcare industries. With nearly 400 professionals across the U.S. and three offices in the Carolinas, the firm combines expertise in traditional architectural services (architecture, engineering, interior architecture) with proficiency in additional architectural consulting services (planning, sustainability, site design, brand consulting, digital visualization and smart building technologies).
