The Progressive Initiative of Charleston celebrates Black History Month with a trilogy of events centered on financial security, the arts, and health awareness in the black community to be held in North Charleston, SC.
These workshops will be offered at Exquisite Enterprises Inc., with the financial workshop being hosted on February 2nd at 11am, the art show on February 17th at 7pm, and the health education class on February 23rd at 11am. The financial workshop and health education class are have an entry fee of $10, with the art show being free to attend, but $35 for artists to participate.
These workshops will be lead by various black professionals in these fields, all sharing their knowledge on their respective fields.
The purpose of these classes is to serve as a celebration of black culture and history, by providing a positive environment for African Americans to come together to celebrate their culture, and to educate them on relevant topics.
