MT. PLEASANT, S.C., July 3, 2018 — Pleasant Speakers, a local area club of Toastmasters International, announces its new officers for the 2018-2019 year.
Based on member vote, the club recently inducted the following officers: Craig Van Sickle, president; Kathleen Honan, vice president of education; Clark Thompson, vice president of membership; Alicia Millinger, secretary; Renee Pauley, treasurer; and Steve Kendrick, sergeant at arms.
“Club officers help members reach their communication and leadership goals at their own pace,” Van Sickle said. “We support members with educational programs and a comfortable learn-by-doing environment. Our new officers bring extensive speaking and leadership experience, and are looking forward to helping members achieve success.”
Pleasant Speakers Toastmasters Club #7783 invites guests to attend meetings, which are open to any adult. Meetings are 6:00 p.m.-7:15 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays, every month, at Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union, 847 Coleman Blvd., Mt. Pleasant. There is no cost to attend, and no prior experience or club membership is required to join.
