McMillan Pazdan Smith (Charleston, SC) has named Mark Gettig to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Gettig brings extensive experience to this new operation leadership position for the firm. He was previously the President of LifeMade, a division of Jadex, Inc. a manufacturing company based in Greer, South Carolina. Gettig has also worked in finance, operations, and general management for Jarden Corporation, Unilever, and Bose.
As COO for McMillan Pazdan Smith, Gettig will focus on financial management, team development, and support services optimization across MPS’ footprint, currently comprised of 7 offices in 3 states.

A licensed CPA, Gettig received his MBA in finance and accounting from Boston University. He and his wife Katie have lived in South Carolina since 2008. The couple has four children.
